Hi there. Thought I'd share two cards with you today. I have made the backgrounds myself​ by spritzing several pieces of cardstock with a red and green metallic​ spray. The results were all quite impressive. I cut the corners out with the Tim holtz's mixed media dies to create the feature corners. I like these dies they are so useful to fill a corner when it needs that extra something. The square card was also stamped with an assortment of different texture stamps from Sheena if you look closely. The butterflies were also die cut and stamped and the sentiment stamped in black just finishes it off.

Easter blooms.

Hi everyone. I hope you are having a lovely Easter break. Today I would like to share this Easter themed card with you. I used the tattered lace charisma rainbow floral bouquet and blissful bloom dies which Eileen kindly printed off then die-cut with the identical dies for my project.
Incidentally I'm sending Eileen this card for Easter which I'm sure she will love. The printed  flower sheets don't look much on paper but when cut out with the matching dies look so beautiful. The card is nice and easy but the flowers in the rose bowl are the focal point on the card. Hope you like it!

Craftwork card.

Hi there. This is a card that I have also featured on my Pinterest board My 'handmade cards' so please look on their for lots more Inspiration.
I started this card by using a 6x6in square scallop card from my craft stash. I cut a piece of pink decorative paper at 14x14cm square and a piece of white pearlesent embossed paper at 12x12cm square. I matted both onto my card with cosmic shimmer glue ( it gives you a slight wiggle time to get it right before it sticks down ) I cut a torqoise circle and two Marianne design leaves and arranged onto my card with the Craftwork card topper and sentiment banner and glued all to the card as shown below. Merry and Bright.

Hi there. Thought I'd share this quick and easy Christmas card with you today. The inspiration  for this card came from a card I saw on the Pinterest site. There are so many lovely cards on this site and so many talented designers.
I love the white on white effect and the touch of colour with the red centres of the poinsettia's. It is so simple but very affective.
The dies are from trimcraft and are part of a set and the sentiment was from a free stamp set sold with a craft magazine.

Craftwork Cards Continued...

Hi  everyone. Thought I'd better do a blog post today. I have just been so busy i haven't found the time to make any cards, let a lone my blog, so sorry for those of you that followed me. I shall try and get back on track and make some cards for you to see...
These cards below are a continuation of the last card I posted back in the summer ( these were made at the same time )   featuring one of my favourite products Craftwork Cards. I sent the first card to my niece for her birthday. I shall keep adding to this collection, so call back to see what I have added.

 

Beautiful butterflies.

Hi everyone. Hope you are well on this Sunday afternoon. Today I thought I'd share this quick and easy card with you. The papers and toppers are from Craftwork cards, stamps, gems and embellishment flowers are from my crafty stash.

I started with a DL card. I happen to have 3 spare squares cut out from another project which just fitted on my DL card perfectly. The measurements are 6.3cm x 5.7cm. I fixed foam pads onto my butterfly layers to make them look 3D and stuck them onto the squares on my card base.
I stamped half a ornate frame over the top of the squares. I made my stamped message fit underneath each square which turned out well. To finish i decorated with pink gems and a flower on each butterfly. I think it would be a good idea to batch make a lot of these and stamp the message on later. I hope you like it

Purple card.

Hi everyone. On this Thursday morning. I thought I'd share this card with you today. I made it last week at the craft class I go to. We all made this lovely card with Chloe's stamps, using lots of lovely wow glitter embossing powders, embossed onto acetate and vellum. What a treat!!
I started  by distressing a square piece of dotty purple card with a distressing tool. I mounted this onto my base card. The die I used (sweet Dixie die ) had three circles to it. I cut all of them together on white card. I kept the largest circle, discarded the middle bit for another project and the smallest circle i used to mount the sentiment onto. I arranged the circles onto the purple dotty background and adhere to the card. Next I took a piece of purple vellum and stamped with veramark and emboss the small. Medium and large flowers ( repeat this 3 times in the sizes ) with wow glitter embossing powder. I cut out and layred them on top of one another ( keeping the same sizes together) adhere as you go then add a pearl on each flower. Emboss the swirls onto heat resistant acetate and cut out roughly. Arrange flowers and swirls onto the card, when happy Adhere to the card. Add sentiment and pearls to finish.
