Hi everybody on this Sunny Thursday Morning. Hope your week is going well. Today I thought I'd share a white and gold Christmas card designed on a 8×8 in card blank, with simple Matts and layers, embossed gold sentiment, Sue Wilson's pointsettia dies and swirls.
A simple card to batch make, even change the colour combination and add more elements- flowers, foliage and sparkle?
Thanks for calling in and happy crafting.

Autumn tree.
Hi everybody on this Sunny Monday afternoon. I have a quick and easy autumnal card to share with you today.
The background paper is from out of a A5 paper pack from docrafts, which you no longer can be purchased any more, but i thought the paper suited the card so well.
The stripe of copper mirri board behind the vellum was embossed in white embossing powder with a set of leaf stamps by crafters companion.
The sentiment stamp is from stampendous, the tree die I believe is from Marianne designs and the rest is from my crafty stash.
Thanks for calling in and happy crafting

Memory book.
Hello everybody on this Thursday afternoon. I'd like to share this memory book with you today which l intended to share awhile ago.
I started by taking the hinges off the box, gave it a quick sand and applied a coat of gesso to the front and back sections. I tore stripes of decoupage paper into pieces and used mod podge to stick it onto the front of the book then repeated again on the back. I painted the spine with white acrylic paint and fixed the hinges back on when it was dry.
I decorated the aperture with a tonic studio's die, the flowers and swirls are extra additions.
I finished the project by adding a butterfly and stamped the words Dream and Inspire on card in black ink. ( the stamp set comes from crafters companion ) The persplex window holds a photo for which it is designed for, but one of the photos featured has a LED tea light in the window which I thought looked decorative as a home decor piece.
Hope you like it. 😊

Home for Christmas.
Hello everybody its a start of another week. My project for today is a Lovely Christmas card from Jane's craft class. I don't know what the shape of this card is called but I like the effect it creates. I believe the wreath is stampin up and I love the village scene dies and the beautiful sentiment stamps. It also folds flat for postage which is always a good idea.
Thanks for calling in and happy crafting!

Its your Birthday.
Hi there on this Tuesday Morning. I thought I'd share this simple card shape, which when opened reveals a pocket for a gift voucher etc, open the card out again it reveals a hidden sentiment.
I made the card shape using 2 6×6 ins card blanks, butting them up together to form 2 folds which when folded flat fit neatly into one another.
To decorate the card i used the paper boutique nesting dies, decorating the front, middle and inside flap with 2 colours of cardstock.
A very simple decorated card but shows now the dies are so versatile.

Create art everyday.
Hi there on this sunny Sunday afternoon. Here is a project I made with a inexpensive wooden birdhouse I picked up.
Firstly I covered the birdhouse in white gesso, then give the roof 2 coats of pink acrylic paint, when dry I mod podged pieces of decoupage decorative paper onto the walls, roof front and stand. I adhered a mixture of pastel coloured buttons onto the roof, not being to careful if they matched or not.
I adhered a small length of pink bobble trim under each side's of the roof, with the birdhouse decorated i carried on decorating the front with a wooden ornament bird, a sentiment 'create art everyday' and small pearl flowers. On the back of the birdhouse I adhered a sleeping wooden owl to finish my project. This is just one idea but you could change it to suit your own style. I have a memory book to share with you another day.
Thanks for calling in, please leave a comment if you wish. I would love to know what you think about this project.
