Hi there on this Monday Morning. Hope you had a Lovely weekend. Today I thought I'd share this cute new baby card with you.
I started by embossing a piece of white card with a dotty embossing folder. I matted it onto pink card then finally onto my base card. I positioned a border stripe across the centre of my card with a stripe of lace underneath it and 2 pearls at either side. I chose a topper from a topper sheet from my stash and arranged it in the middle of the design along with a flower button and a white bow on top. I stamped 'New baby' on a piece of white card and backed it onto pink card onto my finished my project. I hope you like it!
Thank for calling in and see you soon for more craftyness

Steam train.
Hi there on this sunny Saturday Morning. I thought I'd share this card i made for my dad's birthday.
I tore a piece of background paper from a 12x12 paper pad ( it's a mans world ) to give it a distress look, inking all around the edges. I used Tim holtzs mixed media die in the corner then matted it onto Kraft card. I inked and matted my topper then adhered onto my prepared background with the rest of the die cuts and extra bits and bobs... tickets, film stripes, clocks and cogs etc to finish i backed my project onto a card base. A great male card for a train enthusiast.
Thanks for calling in and Happy Crafting!!

Pink floral embossed card.
Hi there on this Thursday Morning. Hope you're enjoying your day wherever you are. Here is a quick share showing you another card from a stash of cards from my over flowing card box..
I created this card by heat embossing the flowers onto plain white card with white embossing powder then came in with a wet paint brush and picked up some Victorian velvet distress ink from my craft mat and painted the embossed flowers very loosely. Next i took a piece of cut and dry and inked round the edges with the same ink pad, taking a stripe of clear vellum i stamped a sentiment in black ink to one side then wrapped it around my prepared mounted background, adding three silver gems. I adhered this onto my white 6x6in scallop card. A very simply card to achieve.
Thanks for calling in and Happy crafting to you all!

Botanical bliss.
I created this card by firstly taking two different sized scallop blank cards..6x6 and 8x8ins. I took the smaller blank card and with the fold I butted it up against the large card front edge, adhering the back to the inside front of the larger card and leaving the front free, so from above it takes on a zig zag effect. I decorated the two fronts you see with botanical papers, popping a pocket in the back front for a gift card or perhaps money and left the large card for the main greeting. I also stamped happy birthday on the front and I distressed around the edges of the papers as well.
I hope you like it!
Please call back soon and Happy Crafting!

Under the sea.
Hi there on this Sunday afternoon. I hope you're enjoying the lovely weather today. I decided to get my brushos out the other day and have a play. I made lots of backgrounds and quite a lot of mess too, but the end results were quite lovely...
I made the background with 4 colours of brusho ( turquoise, yellow, ultramarine and emerald green ) I sprinkled the brusho onto my card and spritzed with water then watched the brusho's activate. When dry I cut my background to the right size for my card base then i stamped bubbles onto my background from a free seahorse stamp (craft stamper mag ) fom black a blue ink.

I stamped 3 seahorses from the free stamp ( craft stamper mag ) and 2 starfish (viva decor stamp set ) from out of the spare background piece then adhered them to my prepared background along with my sentiment ( white embossed onto black card )
I finished the card by using diamond stickles on some of the bubbles and mounted my finished piece onto my base card.
I really enjoyed making this card. Please join me again next time for some more craftyness.

Ship ahoy.
Hi there on this Thursday morning. I thought I'd share this card i made for my nephews birthday. The card features free craft papers from Making Cards magazine. I picked the colours out of the topper for the background paper and also for the plain coloured cardstock. I cut the ship's wheel and seagull dies ( sizzix thinlets ) 5 times from cardstock and stuck them together to make thick chipboard embellishments to make my card look a little more interesting and not just flat. A nice and easy project to make.

flap card....
Hi there on this Monday afternoon. I thought I'd share this card with you today. It's sort of a flap card with a hidden message inside... I shall describe how I decorated the circle card front first...I was looking though my crafty stash and came across this circle shaped card blank so I discided to use the same stamp as on yesterday's post and stamp the entire circle card front with a yellow inkpad for the background then i inked the edges with vintage photo distress ink. I stamped my sentiment onto a stripe of whte in black ink then inked the edges with vintage photo distress ink. I attached the stripe onto my card with foam pads then trimmed the edges and inked again.
I stamped, coloured and decoupage the bee's, tied bakers twine underneath the sentiment and tied a bow. I finally decorated with a puffy sticker plus a yellow button.
Inside the card...I stamped the inside with the same stamp as described above in yellow ink then stamped, coloured and decoupaged the flowers and bee's and added a sentiment. I covered the top inside flap with a yellow circle and a row of bunting to hide the barkers twine. When all finished i mounted the circle card onto a gold scollop circle then onto my layers and base card, the overall size is 6x6 in square.
Thanks for calling in please leave a comment if you wish

Honey bee.
Hi there on this sunny Sunday Morning. I hope you are having a great weekend. I can't believe we're half way through the year already, its flying by.... I thought I'd share a card featuring the bee happy puffy stickers from dovecraft conbined with some simple stamping.
I first started by stamping my background out first by presicioning my stamped image, which looks like honey comb ( capsule geometric mono ) at the top of my piece of card, stamping my way down, alternating the colours from yellow to black down the card.
keep stamping the pattern until you are happy with it. I then cut it to size, inked the edges with vintage photo distress ink then mounted it onto black card to frame it. I popped 2 bee's from the bee happy puffy stickers set then adhered it to my card blank with foam pads to give it diminish on my card. I stamped the sentiment 'be happy' underneath in black ink to finish my project.
Thanks for calling in and happy crafting!!
