Hi everyone. Here's a card I wanted to share with you featuring one of the toppers from a selection of freebie papers out of Making cards magazine called paint splattered animals, these are so adorable and I love the paint splatter effect on the coloured drawings.
Start with a card blank measuring 15cm square, emboss ( me to you embossing folder ) onto a piece of orange toned paper. Matt onto the blank card leaving a border around the edge.
Cut one of the toppers out of the sheets with a circle die and Matt onto a black circle. Cut a length of burlap and dotty brown ribbon, place across the card and lay the topper on top and decorate with buttons on either side. Finish with a sentiment on a strip of white card, distressed around the edge's with black ink.
Hope you like it!
Thanks for calling in and crafty hugs

Sweet little card.
Hi everyone. Here is a quick and simple card I wanted to share with you today. The papers, bows and candy are from craftwork cards, and the stamped sentiment came from a free stamp set off a magazine, which I use quite alot on my cards. I think the font suits the card so well.
I started this card with a 15x15cm card blank. Cut three panels from the craftwork card papers, position these on the front of the card then stick down with adhesive. Assemble 2 craftwork card bows and put 1 on top of the other to foam a kind of rosette, pop a candy in the middle of the rosette, apply glossy accents onto the surface to give it shine then stick to the right of the card with adhesive. To finish Stamp a sentiment in black ink onto left of the card. I love the simplicity of this card and the colours look so clean and fresh...
