Traditional peony

Hi there on this Monday morning it's been a while since my last post so i thought I'd share this quick card with you featuring stamps from crafterscompanion. This stamp set also as a coordinating die set. I used one of the sentiments included in the stamp set plus added a few sequins to finish the look....love this stamp set it's so easy to layer up and the dies give the stamped images a professional look.
Thank you for calling in and happy crafting!!

Spring bloom

Hi there on this beautiful spring morning, I hope you are enjoying this glorious spring weather this weekend, infact the weather has put me in the mood to make lots of spring time cards in lovely pastel colours. The main element on my card are these cute little wooden bunnies which I adore. I purchased them late after Easter in the sale last year. I put them away and forgotten I had them until I came across them the other week, just in time for spring, what a lucky found!!
I have featured these bunnies on all of my craft projects so far....take a look at this card below.
Thank you for calling in and happy crafting!!!

Grow Strong

Hi there on this Sunday morning. I thought I'd share two simple cards with you today...
The flower stamp was heat embossed with silver embossing powder onto a piece of black card using sue Wilson's double stitched rectangles, I adhered the topper onto silver glitter card, framing the image with a frame in black card which I cut from the double stitched rectangles.
Finally I backed the project onto a small blank card and embossed a silver sentiment underneath. 'Warm winter wishes'
The stamped set I used came from creative expressions winter flowers.

The same technique was used on this card and same dies  but the stamps came from sheena Douglass / A little bit sketchy / Grow strong.
Thanks for calling in and happy crafting!!

Christmas rose.

Hi there on this Monday morning hope you are keeping well. I have deleted google+ from my blog page due to it closing in April but please do follow me until I sat up instragram. Thank you for following me over the years on google+ I have really appreciated all your lovely comments, if you wish to follow me please click on the follow box.... Moving on I made this simple stamped card using white cardstock, distress ink, white embossing powder and a stamped image.
Firstly i took a blank card measuring 15×15 cm with my stamping tool I stamped round the edges with the Christmas rose stamp using peeled paint distress ink then inked round the edges with the same ink.
I heat embossed the Christmas rose on to a piece of white cardstock with white embossing  powder then inked up the card with peeled paint afterwards, taking a spritzer bottle with water in it. I spritzed, dabbing the excess off with a tissue.
I cut and inked a extra flower head, attached it onto the flower image then added a button. Adhere onto the prepared card blank adding a sentiment and sequins to the design.
Please leave a comment if you wish and happy crafting!!

Dreamcatcher

Hi there on this Wednesday Morning. I thought I'd share this easy card today using the acrylic block technique. I have shared various projects like this using this technique it's very useful for quick card making.
I took an acrylic block first covering it with various distress inks. I chose 3 different colours ( not being to careful were you transfer it on the block ) I spritzed the ink covered block with water, allow it to disperse a little then stamp on to cardstock.
Allow to dry or use a heat gun for quickness. I stamped my image onto my finished stamped background and coloured it in.
I chose this dreamcatcher stamp as my main image and this little sentiment stamped underneath.
A quick card for a beginner starting out on stamping.
Thanks for calling in
